ABOUT DRAKE MARITIME SERVICES

Built to close the gap between intelligence and response.

Drake Maritime Services was founded to solve a structural problem in maritime security: intelligence and response capability have always operated separately, leaving operators exposed in the space between them.

OUR MISSION

Ethical, intelligence-led security across the world’s highest-risk corridors.

We operate at the intersection of maritime intelligence, hardware engineering, and regulated response capability — not to sell individual services, but to deliver a single, integrated security outcome.

Drake’s Montreux compliance, ISO 28007-1 certification, and intelligence-first escalation model are not differentiators — they are baseline operating requirements we set for ourselves.

Operational certainty

Every alert is analyst-verified before it reaches you. No alert fatigue, no unverified notifications that create noise without context.

Insurance ROI

Drake’s onboard telemetry and incident documentation provides the evidence insurers need to accurately price and reduce your war-risk premium.

Crew safety

All escalation and response protocols are designed around crew safety primacy. Response capability without escalation without intelligence verification is not capability — it’s risk.

HOW WE OPERATE

Principles we operate by. Without exception.

Intelligence-verified escalation

No QRF activation occurs without intelligence confirmation of a credible threat and explicit client authorisation. The escalation chain is a gate, not an automatic trigger.

Client data confidentiality

Vessel movements, cargo profiles, and corridor routing are treated as client-confidential. They are used to improve your risk score, not shared with other clients or third parties.

Montreux compliance

All QRF operations are conducted within the Montreux Document framework for private military and security companies. This is not a compliance target — it is how we build our protocols.

STANDARDS & COMPLIANCE

Compliance built into the product, not bolted on.

Drake’s subscription is structured to satisfy the documentation and procedural requirements of the three standards that matter most to maritime operators and their insurers.

We do not charge separately for compliance reporting. Insurer-facing documentation, audit trails, and incident logs are part of the Sovereign tier by default.

IMO 2025 Rev.3

Drake’s security documentation, incident reporting, and risk scoring satisfy the IMO 2025 Revision 3 requirements for documented security capability across high-risk areas.

Montreux Document

All Drake QRF operations are structured within the Montreux Document framework, covering obligations of private military and security companies in armed conflict situations and high-risk environments.

ISO 28007-1

Drake QRF personnel are certified under ISO 28007-1, the international standard governing privately contracted armed security personnel on board ships.
